California plates...

I was able to get by on an expired Indiana rear license plate for
about 2 years here in Los Angeles... lucky me! I decided it was time
to be responsible so I took care of business today. California
requires a front plate which added a whole other factor into the
equation. I was able to track down the nuts and bolts needed for the
job. I mounted the plate today... check it out!

Acclaimed director, producer and choreographer Kenny Ortega spotted in Sherman Oaks chatting it up with an up and coming producer. Hmm, wonder who that could be?

Joan Rivers spotting...

This is the view today in front of the Valentino Boutique on Rodeo in Beverly Hills. That's Joan Rivers (blonde) doing an interview on the sidewalk. Joan is on the current season of Celebrity Apprentice. I was chatting with my brother when I happened upon the scene... thought I would share.

UCLA

Hello... here on the UCLA campus in front of the Jules Stein building.
The temperature really dropped today in Los Angeles after 3 days in
the high 90's... it's only in the low 80's today.

Runyon Canyon

This was last Sunday... went on a hike! I decided to post this pic as
motivation to trim down. I'll keep you updated :) Anyways, if you look
to the right, directly from MY left shoulder, you can see a white dot
near the top of the hills... it's the HOLLYWOOD sign!

Do you recognize these guys?

I'm pretty sure both of these gentlemen are sports commentators or on
TV in some capacity. I was eavesdropping on their conversation... both
were in Arizona for the NASCAR race yesterday. I think the guy on the
left is associated with ESPN... the guy on the right I recognize but
don't know what network he's with? Someone throw me a bone here...

Here's the view from my place in line at the Pheonix Sky Harbor
airport. The wedding was beautiful and now I'm headed back to Burbank.
This is the first time in a long time I'm not rushing through the
airport, stressing that I'm going to miss my flight... haha. It's a
nice feeling :)

Rehearsal dinner

Just finished up with dinner... really nice! Here at the Wigwam Resort
in Goodyear, AZ... yep, just like the tires. The resort was built here
in 1917 for Goodyear executives. This is pic of Chris (the groom), Will aka 'Wild Bill' and yours truly. We're opening groomsman gifts from Chris... flasks baby!

Just boarded my Southest flight in Burbank. Headed to Arizona for my
fraternity brother Chris's wedding. I'm looking forward to the weekend!

Yo... Kyle Ortega and yours truely gearing up to head out for day 2 of
auditions. Kyle is on Spring Break this week so he's hanging with the
crew!

Spider!!!

So my boy Ryan was over and spotted this spider in our bar. The
picture doesn't really do it justice... this thing was big and green!

Auditions

Just wrapped our first day of auditions in Los Angeles for Michael
Jackson's 'This Is It' Tour. It was an amazing showing of talent and
technique... looking forward to the next couple days! This is a shot
of Steve Stone and his crew interviewing Kenny Ortega post-
auditions... the stage behind is where it all goes down.

Paramount

It's Monday morning and I'm here in the Administration Building on the
Paramount lot... this building houses the Studio Executive's offices.

Happy Easter!

Like clockwork, no matter where I am in the world, I can expect an
Easter basket from my mom to arrive before Sunday. By the time I
snapped this photo the York peppermint patties, Cadbury eggs, jelly
beans, Sourpatch kids, peanut M&Ms and Reeces peanut butter eggs had
been consumed. I can still remember hunting around the house in the
morning with my brother and sister, eating way to much candy before
throwing on the new shades and heading to Church with the parents.

VEGAS BABY!!!

John and Jeff (my brother & dad) at XS in the new Encore Las Vegas the night of Steve Wynn's private birthday party at his new club, January 24th 2009. The company I work with created and produced the weekend events. My dad surprised me and my brother with a prank phone call while we were eating at the Wynn. We were shocked! He had convinced us he couldn't join us on this Vegas trip. We learned how to play Craps, ate an amazing meal and had an all around great weekend!
